Sea Risorse SpA, a subsidiary of Sea Ambiente SpA, is the public operator of the municipal waste collection service responsible for Viareggio and Camaiore waste plants.
Sea Risorse SpA manages hazordous waste and also the wastewater treatment plant sludge line of Viareggio, following the agreement with Sea Acque SpA (now Viareggio Patrimonio) signed on 05/08/2004.
The main specialization of Sea Risorse SpA is the collection of municipal solid waste organic fraction, carried out mainly by way door to door.
Sea Risorse SpA run the experimentation on a 3tons/day basis (2005-2007) that produced the proof-of-concept of COWS process.
As a full member of ATO Costa, Sea Risorse is influential in orientating management and technology choices.
Sea Risorse SpA collaborates with academic and research institutions in the field of environmental monitoring and waste management.
