E3 Training, workshops and meetings for the beneficiaries includes all training and workshops organised for the benefit of the beneficiaries' staff, undertaken for the achievement of the project objectives.

In order to assure a common vision and cohesion among working groups, participants' staff need be motivated and given the opportunity to express their view.

The main objective of this action is to transfer the necessary information (and to get well-acquainted with each other habits and operating styles) in order to enable the involved persons to fulfil their tasks at best.

This action belongs to the E - Project management and monitoring of the project progress actions.

The COWS partnership will organise 1 team building meeting in the very early stage of the project (22/06/2012). The purposes of team building – that should be led by an expert facilitator - is to motivate the team, to teach the team self-regulation strategies, to help participants to learn more about their reciprocal strengths and weaknesses and to foster and practice effective collaboration.

It will be also useful to share some basic management and monitoring issues.

At the end of the In-depth training on COWS (16/01/2015) that will be held at the start of the test run activities, the staff will share a common vision on how to manage this prominent phase to take out the best for the full demonstration scale run. The meeting will be led by the Project Manager and her staff of experts.

All the training materials will be gather on CD/DVD and put at Partner's disposal on the Project Website.

Methods employed:

  • Team Building and participatory approach
  • Workshop will be used when sharing of views, knowledge and experiences is needed
  • Training will be used when well defined information need be transferred to enable persons to perform a given task

  • 10-12 persons participated to training and workshop activities

The main indicators are (1) attendance, (2) knowledge acquisition (3) quality of outcomes.

The dimensions involved are participation, effectiveness of training.

The measuring will be accomplished by COMVIA at the end of each activity.

The thresholds are 80% of expected participants and usage of training outcomes in subsequent activity.

The means of verification are documental, trainers' report and trainers interviews
